Is every hardness in the breast cancer?
Many women may feel changes in their breasts at some point in their lives. The most worrying of these is feeling a hard area or mass in her breast.
Although the complaint of a mass in the breast is the most common finding for breast cancers, not every hardness in the breast is cancer. Many benign lesions such as condensed areas, cysts, and fibroadenomas in the breast may also present themselves as a mass in the breast.
In order to understand whether these lesions are good or bad, examination by the general surgeon and, if necessary, mammography and ultrasonography, magnetic resonance imaging can be applied.
